The Local Partner Organisations Involved

A Cooperation Based on Partnerships

CECI and it's Uniterra programme brings partners organizations and networks from Canada and developing countries together to implement cooperation projects that advance social and economic development. We enable exchanges of expertise, knowledge and know-how between partner organizations from the North and the South. These exchanges are multi-directional: North-South, South-North and South-South.

Partners from the South

Uniterra facilitates collaboration between organizations from the Global South and Canadian organizations working on common issues. We also support organizations in initiatives promoting collaboration between countries of the South.

Canadian partners

We mobilize Canadian organizations active on issues linked to our programming sectors. These organizations establish ties with our partners from the South and collaborate with them in a variety of ways: via Canadian volunteers to the South, by welcoming volunteers from the South who come to Canada, and by exchanging information and knowledge.

This project is organized in collaboration with :

3 Sisters Adventures Trekking Company and their NGO – Empowering Women of Nepal, the main project partner for trek logistics

FECOFUN – Federation of Community Forest User Groups – Women's Leadership Program – partner for the leadership trek

FEDO – Feminist Dalit Organization

HIWN - Himalayan Indigenous Women Network

ICIMOD – International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development

NIWF – National Indigenous Women's Federation
